How would you say these students did? Pay attention to their use of transitions and sentence structure. What about the accents? Why does the first fellow look like he’s about to cry? ;)
Here’s a three-part lesson on how to structure a letter. This would probably be more useful on the IELTS, but it could be helpful for TOEFL as well. The lesson starts off very basic, so if you already know the basics, feel free to start in the middle.
